The Telangana State Police Welfare Division is maintaining the funds for different purposes. Subscriptions are collected from the Police Personnel/Ministerial staff all ranks (PCs to Inspectors & Class-IV to Superintendents)
All the employees of the Police Department including Ministerial staff shall enroll themselves as Members of Bhadratha and contribute monthly subscription of Rs.800/- (PC to ASI) and Rs.1600/- (SI and above ranks) which would be refunded at the time of their retirement with 5% simple average interest.
A trust has been registered under Telangana trust act by the Police department to run a scheme called as Arogya Bhadratha scheme and managed by 11 trust members of DGP as the Chairman, IGP (Welfare) as Vice Chairman and (09) other members. The Secretary is the Chief Executive officer to run the day-to-day administration. Aims and objectives to provide medical treatment on a cashless basis to the Police officers and their dependents to undergo major operations wherever necessary and to release the mental tension among the police personnel, as they may not meet heavy medical expenses. Arogya Bhadratha arranges the best treatment to the police personnel and their eligible dependents at Super Specialty Hospitals. To pay the medical expenses directly to the hospital where approved operations/treatment took place.
